neben meinem bett mein nachttisch in den einzig wahren farben grün und orange. darauf gerade zu finden - ich schlafe mit vielen dingen: allergietabletten (man weiß ja nie), ohrenstöpsel (wegen der immer zu schnellen autos und der kopfsteinpflasterstrasse), dann der wecker, der nicht tickt und leise piept zum wecken, das buch von raoul vaneigem, das ich seit über einem jahr versuche zu lesen, aber nicht weiter als seite 10 gekommen bin, das kindle, auf dem ich gerade einen bekannten roman von stieg larsson lese und 2 tolle stoffposter (oder wie heißt so etwas?): eins von der punk-not-punk-legende pornoheft und das andere von den wahnsinnig guten sunn o))) - eigentlich sollten sie an der wand hängen, aber ich bin faul, und eine original gefälschte blaue casio-armbahnduhr aus vietnam.

und mein lieblings-dinkel-kissen.

ueber meinem bett haengt ‘die natur der udssr’. der nachdruck eines plakates, dass ein gewisser n. zukhov fuer intourist, die staatliche reiseagentour der su, entwarf.
hinter dem bett sitzt michalina. meine teddybaerin, die mir seit meinem ersten geburtstag gesellschaft leistet.
neben dem bett liegt das buch ‘respekt! die geschichte der fire music’. es enthaelt wirklich wunderbare interviews, die christian broecking mit free jazz musiker_innen fuehrte, ueber respekt, politik, schwarzsein und die ab- und zuneigung zu wynton marsalis, stanley crouch und albert murray, die ihre konservative jazz revolution im lincoln center in new york institutionalisiert haben.
zusaetzlich noch ohropax und ein radiowecker.

Went on a business lunch today which ended up being a snack hut in Z’s red light quarter, called ‘Palestine’. It was decorated with a photo of the young Yasser A., behind him an unidentified machine gun bearer, surrounded by at least two flags, of guess what, yes, ‘Palestine’. I had probably the best falafel for at least (insert long timespan).

Luckily when I came home tonight there was this postcard in my mailbox which included the words ‘the very right of existence’.

neben meinem bett liegt deschners sexualgeschichte des christentums, auf einem stapel weiterer erbauungsbücher. ich schlafe in einem t-shirt der nowhere else to roam europa-tour ‘93, das mir mal eine freundin geschenkt hat. nicht fehlen darf die lesebrille und lumpi, der sich allerdings zu verstecken versucht (mag keine fotos, privatsphäre etcpp.).

There are people I might have loved had they gotten on the airplane or run down the street after me or called me up drunk at four in the morning because they need to tell me right now and because they cannot regret this and I always thought I’d be the only one doing crazy things for people who would never give enough of a fuck to do it back or to act like idiots or be entirely vulnerable and honest and making someone fall in love with you is easy and flying 3000 miles on four days notice because you can’t just sit there and do nothing and breathe into telephones is not everyone’s idea of love but it is the way I can recognize it because that is what I do.
